This past weekend Huntington Beach was host to one of the largest surfing/skate events in the world. Thousands and thousands of people packed the streets and beaches to watch pro surfers, skaters and BMX riders compete for their respective titles, and action sport brands crowded the venue competing for the consumers loyalty. Combine that with the Jersey Shores of the West coast and you have yourself a day in the beach over at the US Open. Here are some photos for those of you who didn't make it out, and for those of you who are still trying to figure out what happened.
Is street art getting overplayed? Yes, I think so.
Do you think Tilly's pre-screens the people they paint on? Apparently.
It was almost too much to handle, but the free concerts by Jimmy Eat World and MGMT, the friends scattered around the beach, and the Ninjas coming to visit made it well worth attending.
Keep it easy Ninjas, and keep at those Ninja Missions.
