Back in the Bay
Back to the Bay.
Ran into Korey Dane at The Bay theater.
Had a good talk about making it in the music, or fashion, business and how essential it is to be in high traffic areas like LA, New York or SF. There's an unreal amount of competition out there, but if you can get your stuff seen by enough people, you can be pretty sure there will be at least a few who will be super into it and take it back with them wherever they're going. That's how it begins to spread, and that process has been repeated time and time again. Speaking of, he's having a concert tonight in Silverlake, so make it out there Ninjas.
Good friend Josh took me around the theater and let me snap a couple photos.
The Bay Theater has been a staple in the Seal Beach landscape ever since 1947 when it was established. It's still got the original seating and organ setup from when it was first built. Definitely a classic.
With $6.00 student prices (in cash) you can't go wrong. Check em out, and show the Bay some support. I mean, don't you want a theater around that's going to play the Goonies on a friday night? I know I do.
